How do I add the website score badge to my site?
Paste your URL into the analyzer and let it finish. Under your results you'll find the badge preview and a text box containing the embed snippet — an image tag wrapped in a link back to WebAnalyzer. Press Copy, then paste it into your footer, your about page, or wherever you show trust marks. It's ordinary HTML, so it works on any platform that lets you paste HTML: WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, a static site, or hand-written markup.
Does the badge update when my score changes?
No, and that's deliberate. Each badge is tied to one specific analysis, so it keeps showing the score from that run rather than silently changing under you. If you fix issues and want the badge to reflect it, run the analyzer again and copy the new snippet — the fresh analysis gets its own badge. That also means a badge is an honest record of a real result on a real date, not a number that can quietly drift.
Will the badge slow my site down or track my visitors?
It won't. The badge is a single static SVG with no JavaScript, no web font and no cookie. It sets no identifiers, runs no analytics and cannot see anything about the people visiting your site — the browser simply requests an image. It's cached for an hour with a stale-while-revalidate window on top, so repeat visitors typically don't re-fetch it at all. If you'd rather not make any external request, download the SVG and self-host it; just keep the link to your report or to WebAnalyzer so the badge remains verifiable.
